Pastelpainting, drawing and sketching, while exploring the landscape
I make a quick sketch (or, a photo) when drawn to something that interests me. Back in the studio I decide if and how to develop my sketch into a larger piece.
My goal is to work as much as possible 'en plein air' as it gives the opportunity to explore the atmosphere, colours and values of the scene.
